Description
Every year, around 13,000 people are admitted to hospital for burns and scalds. Many thousands more go to hospital accident and emergency (A&E) departments in order to seek treatment and help for accidents caused through burns.
This course will help with basic first aid when it comes to burns and will help you learn about the build-up of skin and different types of burns that you can receive. This course would be an ideal compliment to a fully accredited first aid course and will aid you in your understanding of immediate medical care and how this may link into the wider aims of first aid.
