The Training Group – Terms and Conditions for Course Bookings
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Training Group (“TTG”). By booking a course with TTG, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your booking, attendance, and participation in all training courses provided by TTG.
2. Booking and Confirmation
2.1 Course Booking
– Courses can be booked through the course booking form. To schedule a course, you must fill out the course request form, which will be provided upon request.
– TTG will aim to confirm your booking within 5 working days. Confirmation details will be sent to your nominated contact via email.
2.2 Attendance Requirements
– Minimum and maximum attendance numbers apply to each course. If attendance falls below the minimum within 7 days of the course, TTG reserves the right to cancel the course.
– Full names, email addresses, phone numbers, and dates of birth for all course attendees must be provided no later than 72 hours before the start of any scheduled training course.
3. Course Delivery
3.1 Locations
– Courses will be delivered at agreed locations, which may include your premises or specified TTG facilities.
– Additional charges may apply for courses delivered at locations other than the specified ones.
3.2 Course Materials and Equipment
– TTG will provide necessary training materials and equipment.
– Clients must ensure the training facilities are conducive to learning, including suitable space, tables and chairs, IT, and visual equipment.
4. Fees and Payments
4.1 Course Fees
– Fees for each course are detailed in the course descriptions. Fees are subject to change based on the number of attendees and specific client requirements.
– Payment for courses must be made no later than 10 days before the course start date.
4.2 Payment Methods
– Payments can be made via electronic bank transfer or credit card through the TTG online portal.
4.3 Late Payments
– Late payment charges apply under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Regulations 2013. Certificates will not be issued for courses with outstanding fees.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by Client
– Cancellations made less than 10 days before the course will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
– Cancellations made within 5 days of the course will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
5.2 Cancellation by TTG
– TTG may cancel courses due to unforeseen circumstances. Clients will be notified promptly, and any fees paid will be refunded in full.
6. Responsibilities
6.1 TTG Responsibilities
– Provide qualified and experienced trainers.
– Deliver training in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
– Issue certificates upon successful course completion and receipt of payment.
6.2 Client Responsibilities
– Ensure attendees meet minimum attendance requirements.
– Provide suitable training facilities.
– Communicate any changes in training requirements or schedules promptly.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitation of Liability
– TTG’s liability is limited to the delivery of training services as described. We are not responsible for actions taken by client staff beyond the scope of the training provided.
7.2 Indemnification
– Clients agree to indemnify and hold TTG harmless from any claims arising from actions or decisions made by client staff outside the scope of TTG’s training.
8. Confidentiality
– Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information exchanged during training sessions.
9. Compliance
9.1 Legal Compliance
– Both parties agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
– Clients must ensure their personnel adhere to health and safety regulations.
9.2 Training Compliance
– Clients agree to ensure their staff follow the principles and procedures taught during the training sessions.
10. Termination
10.1 Termination by TTG
– TTG may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ notice if the client repeatedly fails to meet minimum attendance numbers.
10.2 Termination by Client
– Clients may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ notice, provided all outstanding fees are settled.
11. Force Majeure
– Neither party shall be liable for failures or delays caused by circumstances beyond their control, including natural disasters, acts of war, or government actions.
12. Governing Law
– This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
13. Miscellaneous
– Any changes to the scope of services or fees must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
– This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements.
By booking a course with TTG, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
