INTENDED AUDIENCE

The Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment (RQF) is ideal for those who are looking for an introduction to the principles and practices of qualification assessment. This qualification may also be suitable for those who are currently performing the role of Assessor for certain vocationally related qualifications or trainee assessors beginning their IQA journey.

Trainee Assessors may include individuals who currently work in a mentoring/teaching/training capacity and wish to further develop their knowledge and skills of assessment.

COURSE OVERVIEW

Throughout the duration of this course, Learners will develop the knowledge and understanding of assessment. Topics covered include: principles and requirements of assessment, how to plan assessments, quality assurance of the assessment process, managing information relating to assessment and more.
